According to the conclusions of specialists of «Iron and Steel Works «Azovstal» PJSC, the application of BKD(n) briquettes (iron-containing) cuts the specific consumption of coke from 4 to 12 kg/t, increases average daily blast-furnace productivity, cuts lay-up caused by decrease of tuyere instruments burnings frequency.
According to the data of «F. Dzerzhinskiy Dneprovskiy metallurgical industrial complex» PJSC, the application of BKD briquettes decreases coke consumption by 30 kg per ton of cast iron.
