The constant form of BKU(s) briquettes and high gas-permiability provide equal distribution of heat sources in lime furnace. This was repeatedly proved during the process of industrial tests conducted and recommended to be applied by Vinnitskaya association "Podillyatsukor" and the Ukrainian research institute of the sugar industry.
